Just Life | 10 Questions to Reflect on for the past year

Image
This is kind of late, but better late than never! This was inspired after watching the Youtuber, Vagabond  Youth .  I watched the video back in January, but have been meaning to write down my answers somewhere. Goodbye 2017!  1. Where were you this time last year?  Last year for new years, I went to Kong's house, I had bought some bottles on my way to his house from work. I put a bottle of wine in his mini fridge and had put it in a way where it rolled out of the mini fridge and shattered. It was such a mess. We had planned to go to his uncle's for new year's, but we accidentally fell asleep. We woke up 15 minutes before new years to watch the ball drop and then went back to bed. Also on Valentines day last year, well Kong knows what happens. 2. Where are you now? This year for new years, we made it to Kong's uncle's house. And it was a fine, grand time until the end. The beginning of this year also brought a new position for me at my work place, that

Just Life | 2018 Year Goals

Here, lays my goals for 2018:  Complete 10 Hmong Lessons  Read 5 books Travel to 5 states  Get my passport  Squat 30 lbs comfortably  Paint 5 paintings  Write 1 song  Read 5 Bible books  Plan lessons & post it  Cook at least 12 times  Be more minimal ( Buy/spend less and give/sell away more )  Simple Christmas gifts ( 2017 I went way too all out, and spent way too much ) This year I decided to keep SMART in mind. I've learned about this over and over in school, and I noticed my goals last year were just way too broad that I didn't know how to measure if I had achieved it or not. So this year I decided to really make all my goals Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time limited (not really much a time limit except by the end of 2018).  I't's February, hopefully everyone is still on track with there goals! ( I know I'm already starting to lack )

Lately I've been seeing videos pop up on my YouTube recommended videos list "Everything I bought the past year" and it's so crazy to see how little people buy! It has inspired me to try to buy less since last year I feel like I was buying way too much by the end of the year. I really want to become more minimal, finding content in the things I have now and to stop comparing what I have with what I could have. Hopefully keeping note of this will help me in this journey! Note : February has only started and I've literally already bought more than some of those videos I've seen on YouTube  😂 . But again, I should stop comparing myself since this journey is my own. January  // $168.98 // 29 items 8th // Walmart Checks & address stickers - $22.57 Okay, so the address stickers probably weren't necessary, but they're puppies come on ðŸ’– And hopefully it'll motivate me to send out more snail mail 11th // Goodwill  - $46.06 Just picked up
