Just Life | New Year, New You

Image
The saying goes, "new year, new you". This year, this saying is especially true being that I am now graduated from college and living back at home. It's going to be weird when February rolls around and I don't have to go back to Eau Claire and attend classes. I now have endless hours with my siblings, and I'm now only 30 minutes away from a car ride to my boyfriend. I also now have to find a job in order to begin paying off all my college loans (and my credit card). Along with that, I have to find a position I enjoy and would give me stability throughout the start of my career. I feel like I have forgotten how to interview and all the answers I have for those repetitive questions. Today I applied to three positions at three different companies. I also received a call from a company I applied to two or three months ago. Beginning life after college feels exhausting, but also exciting! I'm excited to learn new things when I begin a position, and I'm excited ...

OOTD | Today's workout is Sponsored by Coffee ☕☕

Image
McDonald's pumpkin spice latte did give me a boost this morning at 6 am! I have yet to do my workout, but it will eventually happen probably within the next hour. I've never had their pumpkin spice so I thought today was a good day to try it. And it was quite delicious! It had a settle pumpkin flavor and wasn't too sweet, which I would say both were pluses.  The first glance I got of this shirt, I absolutely loved it! I love coffee, and I'm trying to get motivated to workout more so this shirt was just perfect. Though it is a bit large, the fabric is extremely soft and tying a knot at the corner never hurts to make a shirt more fitting. A nice shirt with a bold statement, some leggings, and comfy shoes makes it a fine beginning of any day.  Enjoy every morning!

OOTD | Midwest Chill

Image
Just a simple outfit for fall: Neutral top from Forever 21 with black jeggings from Bullhead, and I put my hair in a side-braid because I rarely ever do anything with my hair.  Too keep warm in the chilly midwest weather, I'm wearing this bright orange vest. The vest is Gap but honestly I got it from Goodwill  ✌ Gold rings Just one simple bracelet.  Stone layered necklace from Forever 21. Just wore my black combat boots too.

OOTD | October weather

I do the most with the money I got. Most of the things I wear are either bought on sales or from thrift shops :)  Here's a quick little outfit for the fall weather that is here in Wisconsin:  Terrible picture quality, but basically it's a long dark navy blue shirt that has shoulder cuts :)  Of course, here in the upper midwest gets pretty chilly in the morning and nights, so here's a jacket a chose to match it. Just a very large light brown sweater that king of balances out the girly-ness of the outfit.    My hair is growing! Hooray! Jewelry always gives any outfit an edge ;) Keepin' it simple. I love collecting unique items from various little shops and flea markets! For me, the hardest thing about any outfit is picking shoes to go with it! Here are some $4 knock offs from Walmart ;D Enjoy all your fall outfits! <3

Revita Locks Review | Part 1

Image
Is Revita Locks a scam? Money-wise, I would say yes it is. It says it is a free-trial with only having to pay the shipping fee for a "free" 30 day supply sample. But really, it will charge you 10-14 days later because you really signed up for an either 10 or 14 day trial of the product. It also automatically subscribes you to their monthly supply of their vitamins, which I've read is around $80. Luckily, I ran into a bunch of reviews telling me this and I was able to cancel the subscription before the 14 day trial ended, but decided to keep the product for about $28. I figured that the hassle of shipping it back was not worth it and I wanted to give it a test run anyways. This leads to the next big question which is, of course, is the product a scam in its quality? Does it really increase your chance of having longer, thicker, stronger hair? Does Revita Locks really increase hair density and shine? Well I've decided to test it out and give it a shot. The prod...

OOTD | A College Finals Week

Image
I love the quote in this shirt "Rather be hibernating". It's so perfect for exam weeks. Plus, I love the low back! The all-black color scheme, I feel, is also very perfect for the stressful exam weeks during school. This semester's finals were especially stressful for me, and being just before Christmas, shopping was my stress reliever. Never forget to take breaks and relieve stress. :) I got the shirt on sale at Aeropastle from the Bethany Mota collection for $3, black jeans from Plato's Closet for $1, and shoes from Savers for $6. The necklace was made with a pendent from Michaels that was on sale for $0.75 and came with two other pendants, and just put it on a chain I found around the house. (P.S. I never noticed how long my hair was getting until I took that back picture.) Posted via Blogaway
