Shopping | A little Christmas self-buy haul

Image
I'm not sure if this happens to everyone (tell me if I'm the only one), but while buying gifts for others during Christmas I seem to manage to buy myself quite a few things as well. I feel like it's such a bad habit! But, I guess, after spending money on others (and seeing deals!), I feel a bit more justified in buying things for myself as well. Any who, I'm just sharing a few things I picked up for myself this year during my X-mas shopping ventures from Nordstrom Rack, Forever 21, and Target. Note : I did buy actual Christmas presents for other people at each store too  😂 The below are mix and matched outfits from my buys at Nordstrom Rack, Forever 21, and Target.  I actually wore the above outfit for Christmas Eve.  I super like this dress/shirt from Nordstrom Rack. I feel like it gives 70s vibes. Also these pants from Target are the perfect burnt orange color. I somewhat "styled" it with a few other shirts below. The above...

Review | Online shops - Zaful and Goodmanity

Image
Those online store ads on Facebook and Instagram actually got me! Below is my quick review on a couple of my recent online store purchases from Zaful and Goodmanity. Zaful  The handful of items purchased. This shirt seems like pretty alright quality. The label also states that it's sweatshop free, which is awesome. ($14.25) This sweater is quite cute! The color and fit are both very nice. The packaging was also sleek in the Zaful ziplock bag. ($16.99). I'm not one to spend much on clothes, so $16.99 was kind of expensive to me, but this sweater is unique and worth it. You definitely get what you paid for. When I put on the first necklace (gold without the bead - $2.56), one of the metal circles was too loose and it fell apart. Although it was an easy fix with putting the metal back into the circle, it's definitely not something that should be necessary to do when you buy an item. The other two necklaces have not broken (yet). Overall though, the necklaces are...

OOTD | October weather

Image
I do the most with the money I got. Most of the things I wear are either bought on sales or from thrift shops :)  Here's a quick little outfit for the fall weather that is here in Wisconsin:  Terrible picture quality, but basically it's a long dark navy blue shirt that has shoulder cuts :)  Of course, here in the upper midwest gets pretty chilly in the morning and nights, so here's a jacket a chose to match it. Just a very large light brown sweater that king of balances out the girly-ness of the outfit.    My hair is growing! Hooray! Jewelry always gives any outfit an edge ;) Keepin' it simple. I love collecting unique items from various little shops and flea markets! For me, the hardest thing about any outfit is picking shoes to go with it! Here are some $4 knock offs from Walmart ;D Enjoy all your fall outfits! <3

Beauty | Essence Lip products

Image
I was watching a YouTube video about Must Have Makeup Products under $5 (I forgot which Youtuber it was) and she mentioned Essence lip liner and how it was only $1.50. From that moment, I just had to get it and try it. So Sunday I went to the Ulta at my mall and picked up two products from Essence. I picked up their lip liner in Red Blush. They only had two colors in stock and I figured you can never go too wrong with red. This color turned out very pretty. It was red but with a pink tint. The consistency of the liner glides on lips really nice, I really like it! I also decided to pick up one of their lipsticks. This one was the nudest color and I thought the "e" imprint was so elegant! This product was $2.99, so a really good price for a lipstick. I though it went on pretty well. At first I did think it looked odd, but I feel like nude always looks odd on me. The more I looked my lips and how it went with my face, I realized that this was probably the first very nude lip...
