OOTD | Today's workout is Sponsored by Coffee ☕☕

Image
McDonald's pumpkin spice latte did give me a boost this morning at 6 am! I have yet to do my workout, but it will eventually happen probably within the next hour. I've never had their pumpkin spice so I thought today was a good day to try it. And it was quite delicious! It had a settle pumpkin flavor and wasn't too sweet, which I would say both were pluses.  The first glance I got of this shirt, I absolutely loved it! I love coffee, and I'm trying to get motivated to workout more so this shirt was just perfect. Though it is a bit large, the fabric is extremely soft and tying a knot at the corner never hurts to make a shirt more fitting. A nice shirt with a bold statement, some leggings, and comfy shoes makes it a fine beginning of any day.  Enjoy every morning!

Food | A Quick Breakfast Sandwich

Image
This sandwich has been my life saver so far this semester. Pretty much every morning I can fall back on this wonderful breakfast. It's just simply whole grain wheat bread, almond butter (Peanut butter is just as good), hazelnut spread (Nutella, or in my case JIF brand because I'm on a budget and why not try something a little different), and then bananas (if I have some). This is such a quick and easy make and walk out the door breakfast, especially for those running-late-to-class moments which is almost everyday for me. It's tasty! And in some way healthy: Whole Grain Wheat Bread benefits:   Whole grains is a high-fiber food. As an adult, we need about 25 to 35 grams of fiber everyday. Whole grains contains two types of fiber-soluble and insoluble-which are both very health beneficial. The fiber can help in having healthy digestion and bowel movement. It also helps with lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. Whenever I have the choice of different breads to ge

OOTD | Keeping warm (enough) in the Upper Midwest

Image
Quick snaps on this semi-sunny, semi-cloudy, and semi-chilly midwest day.  My Hair is finally growing longer! On Sunday I finally decided to go back to layers. Those are my two plants, since I'm not allowed to have animals.  All-Star Converses are always a good choice Vests keep you pretty warm in the midwest, at least until you actually NEED to wear a coat.  When you can't be cute, making ugly faces always works.  Enjoy the wonderful bi-polar days of autumn!

OOTD | Midwest Chill

Image
Just a simple outfit for fall: Neutral top from Forever 21 with black jeggings from Bullhead, and I put my hair in a side-braid because I rarely ever do anything with my hair.  Too keep warm in the chilly midwest weather, I'm wearing this bright orange vest. The vest is Gap but honestly I got it from Goodwill  ✌ Gold rings Just one simple bracelet.  Stone layered necklace from Forever 21. Just wore my black combat boots too.

OOTD | October weather

I do the most with the money I got. Most of the things I wear are either bought on sales or from thrift shops :)  Here's a quick little outfit for the fall weather that is here in Wisconsin:  Terrible picture quality, but basically it's a long dark navy blue shirt that has shoulder cuts :)  Of course, here in the upper midwest gets pretty chilly in the morning and nights, so here's a jacket a chose to match it. Just a very large light brown sweater that king of balances out the girly-ness of the outfit.    My hair is growing! Hooray! Jewelry always gives any outfit an edge ;) Keepin' it simple. I love collecting unique items from various little shops and flea markets! For me, the hardest thing about any outfit is picking shoes to go with it! Here are some $4 knock offs from Walmart ;D Enjoy all your fall outfits! <3

Visit | Gooseberry Falls in Two Harbors, MN

Image
Gooseberry Falls was quite the view. Not too much of a hike, so it's really family friendly! I'm not sure if we just came at an odd time, but the water was quite brown. I'm not too much of a science person, so I have a hard time remembering anything about how nature works.  Lake Superior was also a wonderful view on the trip towards the Falls! Most people already know, but if you don't, Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes in North America. :)  I couldn't imagine ending my summer any other way than with my family on an outdoor adventure!

Beauty | Clinique Haul

Image
I've never really bought expensive makeup before (non-drugstore makeup). But I happened to walk through Macy's one day when they were having a great deal on Clinique products. It was a spend $25 and get this cute free makeup bag that included 5 other products in it. It was definitely worth the money! I bought an eyebrow pencil in warm brown. I love this product so much! It glides on very well and stays on all day. I would definitely purchase it again. I also bought their makeup remover. It is spectacular! It takes off all my makeup, even the waterproof ones, very well. I would purchase this product again too. The free gift bag is so beautiful! It also came with a mini bag inside which I use for my on-the-go makeup. The bag included: lip gloss/stick, moisturizer, mini eyeshadow/blush palette, mini mascara, and a moisture surge gel. The lip color was very pretty. I haven't really gotten to try the mascara or the eye shadow palette yet. I'm excited
