Small Extra Money | Lucktastic Smartphone App

Over this last summer, I decided that I would stay home over summer break instead of working some odd job. I decided to look into ways you could make money at home. Along the way I found this app, Lucktastic. I thought it might be a scam, but it wouldn't have hurt to try. Right? Right.


It's an app where you get daily scratch cards and you could win by matching 3 scratch offs and they make money from having you watch advertisements. You then could win a cash prize or app tokens off the scratch cards. I have yet to win any real cash from the scratch offs or any of the Lucktastic drawings, but I have been able to get a few instant rewards. With the tokens you collect, you can trade it in for instant rewards, entering in contests, or playing scratch cards for even more tokens. I would say the instant rewards are the most worth it.

It's pretty simple and doesn't take too much effort at all. In just one month, I was able to get enough tokens for the first prize, which is about 9000 tokens. And that was just doing it every now and then whenever I was bored. This gave me motive to get a better prize since it had been a pretty smooth and easy road. I just kept doing it every now and then when I remembered and within another month or so, I had 25000 tokens, enough to redeem it for 2 AMC movie tickets. I redeemed it, hoping it would actually come but not really minding if it actually did since it was so effortless. In about a week, the tickets arrived in the mail. I was super glad it wasn't a scam, and, hey, I got 2 free movie tickets out of it. Being AMC, that would probably cost around $20.


I forgot about the app for a few months and then when I remembered about it, I realized that they give you daily rewards for just opening the app. Most of the daily rewards are tokens 250-1000 at a time, or entries into the drawing. I literally stopped doing the scratch offs and just tried to remember to open the app everyday. Just doing that, I got enough tokens for another reward of 2 AMC movie tickets in less than two months.



So, Lucktastic, it's pretty entertain-able, easy, and you benefit at the end. It's not much, but it's something free.

This year was not what anyone expected with the pandemic happening, but it has allowed us to spend a lot of time at home which gives us extra time to do things we wouldn't normally do.  Earlier this year I tried the "no-shampoo" method. I don't remember exactly which platform I saw it on, probably Instagram, but immediately I thought I should try it. Her hair was beautifully long, and she's Asian! It also helped me decide, since the last shampoo/conditioner I had bought were both more expensive than the challenge, and it was advertised that you'd be making a shampoo at-home, which I've always wanted to try. Review | Online shops - Zaful and Goodmanity

Those online store ads on Facebook and Instagram actually got me! Below is my quick review on a couple of my recent online store purchases from Zaful and Goodmanity. Zaful  The handful of items purchased. This shirt seems like pretty alright quality. The label also states that it's sweatshop free, which is awesome. ($14.25) This sweater is quite cute! The color and fit are both very nice. The packaging was also sleek in the Zaful ziplock bag. ($16.99). I'm not one to spend much on clothes, so $16.99 was kind of expensive to me, but this sweater is unique and worth it. You definitely get what you paid for. When I put on the first necklace (gold without the bead - $2.56), one of the metal circles was too loose and it fell apart. Although it was an easy fix with putting the metal back into the circle, it's definitely not something that should be necessary to do when you buy an item. Materials of 2018 | May

Summer months fly by too quick! Now that I'm looking back at April, I did NOT do good at all for May. Definitely spent too much on materials...and accumulated too many items. Update on April items (Note this is written in July) Meat raffle haul:  I have used the stick ons for cards.  I sometimes remember to take B12.  I am currently still using the pop socket.  I've been still using the top coat when I paint my nails.  Goodwill haul:  The purple dress' strap broke in our dryer! So I just superglued it as a quick resolution...  I love the T-shirt dress and actually just wore it today for church lol I have yet to use the picnic basket or try the weaving stuff.  I've worn the leather jacket a couple times (I actually totally forgot I even got it, but hey, it's summer)  The bag I've worn a couple time.  I have yet to wear the hawaiian shirt or the black shirt.
