Fitness Series | Morning Yoga and Glutes

Here is the first post to the start of my fitness series. I'll be trying to post as much as possible so I'm able to look back and remember the workouts I was doing in the past.

Yesterday morning (Thursday, February 23rd) I followed this Morning Yoga routine by the Youtuber Boho Beautiful. I absolutely love her channel for yoga routines. I also love how she adds in motivational quotes at the beginning. This video says "The choice you make today defines your tomorrow". Her routines are the perfect amount of challenging and soothing. I also love how she implements at the end that doing this routine is a way of loving yourself and your body, and to take a moment to thank yourself for that.


After the Yoga routine, I did a few exercises for the glutes. So about 20-25 donkey kicks, fire hydrants, rainbows, and bridges with 2.5 lb ankle weights. I feel like I did more exercises but I can't quite remember. I just recently about perfected the headstand so I practiced that a bit more too.

Today I woke up late and had planned to make it to the gym but I wasn't able to. I then ended up going to my boyfriend's place after work so I also didn't get to do any at-home workout as well. There's always tomorrow :) Sorry body, can't thank myself for making time for you today. lol, I did eat good today though (good as in a lot- probably could've definitely been healthier).
